I just recently got a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom single family on Meadowbrook Drive in Parma Heights — I’m doing some work on it (painting, refinishing the hardwoods, and moving everything in) currently, as the previous resident left it needing a little TLC.. but I’ve got a contractor and myself and we’re due to be finished in the middle of February with everything and I’m looking for a roommate to move in — March 1st!

Home has 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a family room/den area off the back. I am looking for someone to rent out the finished basement (that offers private bathroom). You’d get a private fridge (large capacity fridge and frost free freezer) and full access to kitchen and common areas in the home. The home has a living room/dining room, kitchen with stove/fridge and dishwasher. I would obviously provide shelving for pantry/food space for my roommate, as well as full use of kitchen area and utensils (plates, cups, etc) . $350 rent and split gas/electric. I will be paying water/sewer/trash, cable (Direct TV) and internet (Cox Cable wifi). The finished basement/room/area that you’d be living in is 27×10 dimensions. There are hardwoods throughout the 1st floor that I’m refinishing and painting throughout. Basement is completely dry and in wonderful shape!

The house has central air, 1 car attached garage (but long driveway for plenty of off street parking for your car if you have one. I would provide an HD-DVR for you if you’d like, and you’d have full use of the wi-fi at the house as well! One bedroom is mine, one is an office and one is a spare room that if you needed additional closet space – I would let you use the closet in the spare room, but the basement is incredibly spacious and I have a wardrobe rack that can be provided for you as well. Laundry room is off the basement steps (separate from the living area down there) and I have a washer/dryer that you’d have full use of as well.

3 month lease minimum, will do 6 month or 1 year (month to month after) whatever your preference. Looking for female roommates only, sorry.

A little about me: I’m the only occupant at the home (well I will be, once I finish the painting and moving in), I work full time as a quality control manager and I’m a full time nursing student. I’m rarely ever home and when I am – I’m a very quiet person generally doing homework, watching TV or relaxing. I really only have my boyfriend as a visitor, he does come by frequently, but I don’t have overnight guests or parties, so you wouldn’t have to worry about that. I wouldn’t mind if you had people over from time to time or if someone stayed the night here or there either. I’m very laid back, friendly, and clean.

I do have pretty bad allergies (especially to cats) so I’m not anti-pet but if you have a pet, I’d most likely require a pet deposit and it would have to stay in your living area only/you’d have to clean up after it regularly, etc. — I’m not opposed to pets, but it just depends. I’m open to it.

Home is close to Parmatown Mall, public transportation, and is right new to Tri-C Western Campus (1 street away from campus).
