Benton Park House Mate (Benton Park West) $550 2400sqft

Potential Roomies,
My BF and I are looking to find a third for our new house that we will be moving into this weekend…so pretty excited! The house is in the neighborhood of Benton Park West, and is just shy of the Antique shops on Cherokee, and just around the corner of Cherokee Arts Area. If you have never been to the area, it is pretty cool, and has great mexican restaurants and groceries, plus is an emerging arts district in St. Louis. We are also only about 5minutes from 55, 44, and 64/40, and within 10mins of SLU/Barnes Jewish Hospital and the CWE. If you go to Wash U, you are still within 15min at most from the campus (which I am an Alumni of Sam Fox).
Disclaimer: J and I are gay, and have been in a relationship for over 5 years, so if that freaks you out, or will be uncomfortable, please move along. We are looking for a good house-mate to share an awesome space, that we look forward to making our own, and given our design backgrounds – it is going to be fun!

The house will be fully furnished and have most all your needs in the kitchen; we will have all new appliances, and brand new washer/dryer coming next week. I work in a furniture store, so we are fully stocked with fun stuff, and our interest with the antique stores/re-sale shops rounds out the rest of our decor. The room you would stay in will have a bed and furniture, and can be fully decorated if you like, or we can leave that to you. We will be painting everything, so this can also be discussed; you will have also have a private on-suite bathroom with soaker tub (The house in total has 2.5baths)
The common space will be the entire 1st floor, and potentially the 3rd, before it is finished, which will most likely act as studio until then, and can be split with the right person.
Lastly, we do have two well-trained pets…or I should say a cat, and a very happy pup. Due to the nature of our belongings, we are not keen on the idea of any more pets, since we have had such good luck with no destructive animals, we would prefer not to test our luck. So as long as you good with a handsome gray tabby, and black and tan shiba-inu, we should be good!
The outdoor situation is pretty cool, with a small fenced front yard and brick patio, and a small back patio and fenced lawn. We will hopefully add a garage in near future, but parking will be on the street for now.

We really don’t have a preference for male, or female, but it is very important that we all can get along and can enjoy each other’s company.
