I would like to rent out my basement in S.E. Aurora near Buckley AFB (about 5 mins.) very nice house, very nice block/neighborhood, nice yard, possible garage space. you would be renting basement as your private space,( The basement is clean and presentable but not as nice as the rest of the house.)but would share the common floor with a small family of 3+1 possible summer guest (Father, son, daughter, nephew). No entrance to basement from exterior, you will have to go through house.

It is lightly but adequately furnished…Bed set, dresser, couches, TV, stereo, 3/4 bath. You can use this furniture or bring your own. Rent will include basement, cable, Internet & utilities. I would consider a well behaved dog, with additional deposit. (Inside and out…good with kids.)

It was my man cave, it is very a comfortable space.

I am going to be upfront about this situation…Please read carefully before calling:

I am a single father looking to rent out my basement, I have 2 kids 10&4, so I am going to screen my tenants very well, please expect a full background and criminal check right off the bat. I am looking for a clean, courteous person male or female, military preferred. Common courtesy and cleanliness is a MUST if you do not possess these attributes please do not apply. I am a very protective father, so respect and discretion is a MUST with my kids, they are good kids, well behaved but will want to get to know you as well i’m sure. We keep a pretty mellow routine during the week, we wake by 6-8am, and quiet down by about 9pm or so, we are pretty active so will be in and out a lot. Some weekends we might have a barbecue or a UFC fight or Sporting event on the TV with friends.(3-4 times per year.).

Again I cant stress enough how important common courtesy, respect, no drama and cleanliness are to this relationship, after all we will be sharing a house. This will be my first time attempting this type of a situation, but I am confident that as long as we are a good fit, in general, everything will be very comfortable and enjoyable. I am a strong willed, firm but fair individual, so please expect for me to keep a close eye on things. (your space is private, and you can count on that) but if we started slipping up on cleanliness or courtesy in common shared areas of the house I will have to say something about. I would rather just say all of this upfront, so that there is no confusion in the future. Over all this is my kids house and I have to watch out for their needs. I am asking for no train smokers, if you smoke please do so out side and not to where it will stink up the house, please no drugs or cats.

Rent is $750 per month (with or with out furniture.)
Deposit is $750+first month.
$1500 upfront.
Application fee. $TBD I have to check on that.

Please expect to speak with me a few times before we decide to meet up to see the house…you wont be disappointed in the house, it is very nice.
