Master bedroom in awesome 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment is available starting July 1, 2012. The lease is actually Sept-Aug so ideally I’d like the 14 month commitment. Looking for a female roommate ~25-30 years old with job and financial security. Rent is $1,375 per month.

I am:
27 female, work in DUMBO at a digital design/tech agency 9:30-6:30 hours, easy-going, spend down-time at home. I’ve lived in this apt for 3 years and absolutely love everything about it. My current roommate (friends from age 6 or something crazy like that) is moving for her next med. school rotation assignment out of state so I’m on the hunt for a new roommate so that I don’t have to leave this location.

The apartment:
New (maybe 7 years old) elevator building on President Street between 4th Ave and 5th Ave in Park Slope Bklyn. Located on top/6th floor, street facing but generally quiet. Mostly families and working-types in the building.
The R Train Union St stop is literally 20 steps from the front door and the Atlantic Terminal hub is a quick 10 block walk – it’s got all trains: R, N, Q, D, 2/3, 4/5, LIRR. Tons of restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores in vicinity and Prospect Park is a 15 minute walk.
Really spacious and bright – pictures attached don’t really do it justice. Open living room format, modern kitchen. Can see some city skyline out the huge windows. The available bedroom (the master) can fit a queen sized bed, dressers, a desk, and more with room to spare. Really nice-sized bathroom with bathtub/shower and lots of cabinet space for things.

Live-in super, very responsive, nice and friendly. Never had any issues, pests, craziness like that!
No utilities included, costs probably run $175 each per month but certainly willing to revisit the bills to cut down.
Parking lot behind the building – spots are $200 a month (but could probably find cheaper solutions elsewhere if desired)
