We are looking for a responsible adult that would like to share our little slice of paradise.

We have a bedroom available September 1, in our 3 bed, 3 bath apartment. That’s right, your own bathroom! The place is located at 17th and Union in the Capitol Hill/Central District area, near Seattle University and Trader Joe’s.

The apartment is on the top floor of a modern building (only 12 years old) that overlooks the downtown Seattle skyline. The apartment includes washer/dryer, fireplace, gas stove, dishwasher, bar, and has a large balcony with a great view. The place is pretty fancy with crown molding and an open kitchen and gas fireplace that turns on with the flip of a switch.

The available bedroom is a large bedroom with a city skyline view and you have your own large bathroom with bathtub. We currently have the whole place furnished with TV, couch, dining table, bar, but if you have stuff, we can probably accommodate it. We also have a Wii. A garage parking spot may be available for an additional $100/month, or there is street parking, which is usually easy to find a spot within a couple blocks.

Rent is 667.00 per month + utilities (gas/electric/water/internet) split equally. Deposit is $650. You would have to sign a lease with the landlord and there is a $35 application fee.

About us, we are 1 male and 1 female, and a 2-year-old Doxiepoo puppy named Whiskey (12 lbs). One of us works full-time from home and the other works full-time in an office. We are responsible, clean people who are pretty mellow. We are looking for a roommate with the same qualities. We occasionally have people over, but mainly we just hang out and my roommate is always out playing a sport or games and is rarely home. We like to cook, watch TV/movies, read, play board games, and even paint and do crafty things sometimes too. I work from home so am there most of the time, and Whiskey follows me around. She is very lovable and totally adorable and cuddly. She does not shed and is potty trained. No heavy drinkers. 420 friendly. Gay friendly. No druggies. No drama. Outside smoking only. We are about 30 years old and would prefer someone about the same age. If you like to have people over, we do not mind as long as you are respectful, as we would be with you.

The room is not furnished but the roommate moving out might leave his stuff behind.

We will consider dogs (30 lbs or less), but no cats and only 1 person living in the room.

I encourage you to come see the place as the pictures do not do it justice. The sunsets are awesome and we have a nice view of downtown. In the winter when there are no leaves on the tree, we have a view of the Space Needle too. The apartment has tall ceilings, lots of windows, and is very big and open. The last picture is a shot of the room from just outside the doors, which is 2 sliding doors (yes there’s a lock), which is nice because you can be social and be part of the living room or private with your doors closed.
