Roommate needed for a 3 bedroom rowhouse on Capitol Hill for February 1st (a few days earlier is possible!). Year lease.
About the house:
Large rowhouse on a great street. First level has a large living room (with built-in bookcases & a fireplace), large dining room, kitchen (with large cupboard & washer/dryer), half bath and a back porch (with a grill). Upper level has three bedrooms and a full bath. The common space is furnished.
Available bedroom faces the rear of the house, has two smaller closets and a large wardrobe. The room has lots windows/light and has an AC.
About the neighborhood:
Quiet and safe street. 10 minute walk from both Union Station (red line) and Easten Market (blue/orange line). 5 minute walk to the Senate office buildings (a few minutes further to the Capitol & House). Nearby to Stanton & Lincoln Parks. Close to many restaurants/markets on Mass Ave. and Penn. Ave.
About the roommates:
We’re two females (26 and 30). One works on the Hill, the other in international development. We both keep busy with work (lots of international travel for one of us) and staying active/social, but enjoying catching up at home for cooking dinner and relaxing after work. We’re looking for someone similar in age – responsible, respectful, etc.
Sadly, no pets!
