Room in Courtyard Community for Student/Young Professional (University City) $550

I have a room available in a great 4 bedroom house in University City. The house is at 45th and Spruce in a beautiful courtyard community. Neighbors include UPenn and Drexel professors, as well as families. The house has a hardwood floors; air conditioning; large windows in each room, which make the house very bright during the day; a full, modern kitchen with a dishwasher; washer and dryer; one and a half bath; and courtyard access. Your room has a large closet and mirrors, and can be unfurnished, but if you would like it furnished, we can include a bed and desk. Utilities are not included in the rent, which is $550 per month, but the utilities are about $100 per month, when split three or four ways. Internet and DirecTv are already installed in the house.
The area is a lot of fun and very safe. University City has public safety officers patrolling the area frequently. The courtyard community has events and everyone is very friendly. There are a lot of bars close by; Local 44, which has delicious craft beers, is just a block away. There are also a lot of great restaurants very close by. As a student, I really enjoy being in this area because there is a lot to do, and many other young people in the area. Something else I love about this area is that I’m always discovering new places to eat/drink or new places to explore. The UPenn campus is a short walk away, and the Drexel campus is about a 25 minute walk, or a quick bus ride. UPenn students have the UPenn bus available, and the Drexel shuttle has a stop 2 blocks away. Septa has a bus stop a block away, and a trolley stop a few blocks away. So while this area is fun, the rest of the city is still very accessible with all the public transit available.
I am: a focused female student, 22 years old. I am neat and clean. I am sociable, but need to also be focused on my studies, and am not looking for any drama. During the week I stay pretty quiet because I need to be prepared for classes, but on the weekends I like to go out to different bars, visit museums, and explore the city. I am a social drinker and non-smoker. I am interested in fashion and art; I enjoy sewing and refashioning clothes, painting, drawing and crafting. Your other roommates are a 24 year old female student, who is extremely focused on her schoolwork, and a 22 year old female paralegal.
You are: a responsible student or young professional, friendly, respectful of others’ space and belongings. You are clean and willing to share household chores. You are also respectful of a roommate’s need for a quiet and calm home environment during the week. You are a non-smoker, or only smoke outside. You don’t have any pets (I love them, but the landlord doesn’t!)
