3rd roommate needed in 3 BR apt for 9/1 (Somerville) $633

June 14, 2013 in Boston

Looking for a queer-friendly, female-identifying or genderqueer roommate in a sweet 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the 3rd floor of a three-family house. Lease starts September 1st for one year. Rent for the entire apartment is $1900 split evenly, so about $633 per month.

Amenities include:
– Eat-in kitchen
– Dishwasher
– Free in-apartment laundry (!)
– Large back porch
– Walking distance to a Stop & Shop that’s going to open over the summer, probably?
– Across the street from Guru the Caterer, which has superb Indian food.

Other info:
– Oil heating (gross, I know)
– Hot water is included with rent, electric/gas/internet is not (per month it’s between $80-$120 for the entire apartment)
– Less than a minute walk from a bus depot that has the 87, 88, and 89 bus lines, about a 3 minute bus ride from Davis or a 15 minute walk (I’ve actually timed this).
– No pets allowed per the lease, sorry
– Room is unfurnished with a one-door closet
– Street parking only, but parking permits are cheap ($30 per year)
– No air-conditioning, but mostly that’s because we’ve been too lazy/cheap to get anything

We are two female-identifying, twenty-something, quiet, clean individuals with full-time jobs. Roommate one works retail, so has kind of strange hours. Roommate two has a normal 9-5 job.

Please email with name, best contact information, and a little bit about yourself. Non-smoking, please.

Don’t want to be stuck with a lease? We will sign the lease for you! (Anywhere in Chicago)

June 6, 2013 in Chicago

If you have bad credit and facing trouble signing a lease, we can sign a year lease for you and you can stay there for as long as you want on a monthly lease.

You can move out whenever you want, and when you do, we will convert the apartment into a shared apartment and move other people in.

How does it work?
You will have to find your favorite apartment/house, and let us know the contact information of the people responsible (landlord/managements) for the place. You will have to pay for the rent and the deposit. We will sign the lease for the place and you can move in. Also, you will have to pay $160 on top of the rent every month. That’s how we make profit for the service we provide.

When can you move out?
You can move out whenever you want. You can move out in a month or you can stay for entire year. You won’t have to stick with the place.

When will you receive your deposit back?
You will receive 10% of the deposit back every month. So you will receive your deposit back in 10 months. Why won’t you receive the entire amount back at once? That’s because we don’t want the burden of the deposit on our shoulders, so basically instead of paying for the deposit by ourselves, we pay you 10% of the deposit out of the profit that we make from the apartment. 10% is the amount we can afford to pay each month. Remember, the deposit that you paid is not returned by the landlord when you move out. But we guarantee that you will receive the entire deposit back, even though the landlord decides to keep a part of the deposit for damages and cleaning.

Benefits?
1) You have a guarantee to get your entire deposit back (10% each month for 10 months), even if the landlord decides to charge for damages or cleaning in the end.
2) You don’t have to stick with the place for entire year. You can move out whenever you want.
3) You will be able to stay there even with bad credit.

If interested, please call 217-721-6791 (Sam). Please mention the code “ChicagoHP” so that I will be able to differentiate you from other people who contact me for other housing ads.
