Hard wood floors, furnished living room/full kitchen, washer/dryer, AC & heat, cable, HBO etc and wireless throughout the home. Street parking does not require a permit and is never an issue. All utilities are included, no lease or deposit required. We have rented to Temple students this way in the past with lots of success. Must be cool with a 10lb cat and dog who are very friendly.

Home is located in Old Jefferson – walking distance to Ochsner hospital and 1 mile from Orleans parish line. 10 minute drive to Tulane, Uptown and CBD. Super convenient access to Jefferson highway and Earhart expressway. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and there is off-street parking.

I am a 31 year old professional female and the owner of the home. I am looking for someone who is also a professional female, grad students okay. No smokers, drug users or heaving drinking/partying (occasional drinks are cool). I have one cat and chinchillas (small pets that stay in cages). You may have a cat as long as it is well-behaved, sorry no dogs. No overnight guests.

Hello and Happy New Year!

I have a spacious two-bedroom apartment in SW DC in between Nationals Stadium and the Jefferson Memorial, right near the Waterfront and the new Safeway supermarket. The Metro is just a 5-minute walk away, where you can easily get to most areas of DC and northern Virginia. My roommate is getting married and is moving out at the end of this month, so the room will be available on February 1 (I may be able to be a little flexible on the move-in date).

My apartment is on the 10th floor of a high-rise with a spectacular view that stretches from the U.S. Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial. Fully furnished living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry facilities, internet, cable, home phone, and plenty of closet space. The room itself just has a desk, so you would need to bring a bed. Rent is $850/month, including utilities.
